Lost and found

Last night while doing my stretching exercises getting ready for bed I noticed a gleam on the floor by the wardrobe door. At first I assumed it was part of the fixings but then I decided it didn't look quite right and bent down for a closer look. Tucked between the frame of the wardrobe door and the carpet was a dog tag, the edge of which was gleaming in the lamplight. On the dog tag it says

I FEEL ABOUT YOU
MAKES MY HEART
LONG TO BE FREE

The peculiar grammar makes it sound like it's part of a pair of tags although even then the break would be an odd one. Googling shows the phrase to be part of the third verse of Hold on to the nights by Richard Marx (or at least that's all you get when you google on those three phrases). It seems an odd sentiment to wear on a dog tag. It must have been lying there all this time - 2 years since I moved in at least - without being noticed. I wonder who's it was, and if they miss it.
